| | Q: Why does the system prompt me to install QuickTime? A: Our multimedia presentations have video clips embedded in them. Playback of these clips requires the use of QuickTime Player. If your computer does not already have the QuickTime player installed, the QuickTime installation will automatically be triggered.

| | Q: Why is there no sound? A: In order to be able to play sound on your system, you should have a sound card and speakers installed on your system. If there is no sound coming out from your speakers, please check the following:
The speakers are jacked into the "Speaker Out" of your sound card.
The volume control is turned up to the appropriate level.

| | Q: Why is sound choppy? A: This problem occurs when your system resources run low. We recommend that you close all other applications whilst running the multimedia presentation.
MP3 audio enables us to compress hours of audio onto one convenient CD package. However, converting it back to the required audio format is a resource-intensive process.

| | Q: Why does nothing seem to happen for the first few minutes? A: When the CD is inserted, the multimedia presentation will automatically run by itself. However, this loading process might take longer on slower systems, or systems with slower CD-ROM drives.

| | Q: Why does the audio track in the presentation come out distorted? A: The audio levels have been optimally set during the production phase. Any distortion that occurs could be due to excessive audio levels on your system. Please ensure that your audio levels are set to the mid-level.

| | Q: After downloading Acrobat Reader from the website, I am unable to print the message notes from the CD. Instead it says that "there is no application associated with the link filename extension". A: There are two most probable causes for this. The first possibility that you could try to resolve is to manually associate the .PDF filename with the reader application. The second probable cause is a corrupted Adobe Acrobat installation file. The download from the Adobe website might not have completed correctly, resulting in the corruption. Hence the program does not install properly.

| | Q: Why do I see scrollbars appearing durng the presentation? A.This problem might be related to the font settings of your system. In order to rectify this error, please follow the steps below:
1. Click on the 'Start' button on your taskbar.
2. Go to 'Settings'. (for Windows XP, go to step 3)
3. Click on the 'Control Panel' icon.
4. Double-click on the 'Display' icon.
5. Click on the 'Appearance' tab
6. Under the Font-size column, select 'Normal'.
7. Click 'Ok'.

| | Q: Why am I unable to view the topic notes or access the 31 E-books in the E-Sword Bible Software? A: This problem is due to a small technical glitch in the current release of the E-Sword CD.This glitch hides the “topic notes” and access to the 31 E-books. When you click on topic notes, no text appears in the box below.
Please follow the steps below to rectify the error:
1. Install E-Sword into your local hard disk (C:).
For installation, follow the instructions on the computer screen.
2. Open My Computer (by double-clicking on it). The icon can be found on your desktop.
3. Open local hard disk (C:) by double-clicking it.
4. Open Program Files folder by double-clicking it
5. Open e-Sword folder by double-clicking it, you will see the files within the folder
6. Click “View” on the taskbar and choose “Details”.
Look under the column called “type”. Select all files with .TOP ext
7. With cursor in the highlighted area, right click and select “properties”.
8. Uncheck “Read-only” and press OK.

| | Q: Cat and Dog Theology MP3 CD display problem for Win XP Pro A: This problem is due to the default setting of Win XP Pro. Please follow the steps below to rectify the error:
Display Properties -> Settings -> Advanced -> General
Change the the Font Size to Normal Size (96 DPI)

| | Q: Why do I see Chinese or unusual characters appearing during the presentation? A. This problem might be related to the language settings of your system. In order to rectify this error, please follow the steps below:
1. Click on the 'Start' button on your taskbar.
2. Go to 'Settings'. (for Windows XP, go to step 3)
3. Click on the 'Control Panel' icon.
4. Double-click on the 'Regional and Language options' icon.
5. Click on the 'Advance' tab
6. Under the Language for non-Unicode programs, select ‘English (United States)'.
7. Click 'Ok'.
8. Restart your computer and launch the presentation again.
